Through the use of wood, Thonet and James Irvine asked me to re-interpret the classic B9 tubular steel nested table set by Marcel Breuer.

The interplay of straight and curved lines creates a simple yet captivating design with a sculpted tabletop supported on two leg frames.

With their soft curves and lightweight appearance,
the table set almost evokes a notion of movement and gesture in space.
